I'm thinking of asking my OpenClaw, TED to do this for me 😂 Hey TED, can you please find a valid, human read, email address for British Telecom and send an email on my behalf explaining that if they don’t cease and desist attempting to charge me for my BT Internet service 3 months after I stopped using it, you will report them to the authorities for breaking the "ease of cancellation" laws, including the UK's Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024. Under this law they are legally required to make cancelling subscriptions as simple as signing up. This they have failed to do. Among the penalties: Non-compliance can lead to significant fines, with the UK's Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) able to impose fines of up to 10% of a company's global turnover. Based on 2025’s figure of £20.4 billion would mean a fine of up to £2 billion.

TED, my OpenClaw, now has access to a local LLM running on my Fedora workstation through Ollama as a backup brain. image

The only problem with OpenClaw, is it is another black box wrapped around the black box of AI.

London Heathrow lives in the suburbs of London and so can technically call itself a London Airport. London Gatwick, however is half way between London and Brighton. London Oxford, near where I live is nowhere near London. I once flew to London Glasgow Airport with RyanAir, I thought that was pushing the boundary. Today I learned of Eday London Airport which lies on the remote Scottish Orkney Island islands. If you were to drive from Eday London Airport to London, with correct Ferry timings it would take around 16 hours. image
