I deep dived Random Number Generators with Chatty today. My conclusion, if you do a dice roll right, it’s perfect. The problem is, you’re not going to do it right. Which is why we have: Pseudorandom Number Generators (PRNG), Cryptographically Secure Pseudorandom Number Generators (CSPRNG), True Random Number Generators (TRNG) and Hardware Random Number Generators (HRNG) which are all imperfect, but their imperfections are better than your imperfect dice roll, unless it isn’t.
