I hope my voice reaches the world and that my suffering is heard by every human being who still has a conscience and a sense of humanity. My name is Saleh, I am 24 years old. I was once full of life and hope, striving to build a bright future and live a dignified life. But since the beginning of this brutal war — a war that does not distinguish between young or old, civilian or fighter — everything has changed. My family and I are innocent, simple people who used to live in peace among ourselves, but all our dreams were shattered on October 7.
We have survived death more than four times, miraculously, but each time we lost loved ones who became martyrs. If it weren’t for God’s mercy, we would have been just more numbers added to the endless count. I lost my home, which was completely destroyed — nothing remains of it but piles of stones. Now my family and I are forced to move from place to place, displaced against our will. These are places unfit for humans to live in, conditions with no stability or comfort. On top of that, it costs us huge amounts of money we do not have, leaving us drowning in debts.
I appeal to the entire world to help us secure at least our basic needs in this devastating situation, amidst this fierce war and the complete loss of safety that we once knew. I am a young man, yet my fear for my family grows every day, and I feel deeply helpless for not being able to provide for them.
Every donation makes a difference. Every contribution helps us afford our most essential needs — food, medicine, and the high cost of rent. I pray to God that nothing bad happens to my family, and that there will be people with humanity in their hearts who will extend a hand to help us survive this brutal war and famine
