My son is learning about the downside of travel. Left his Nintendo case with his game cards in the airbnb in Paris. Today he lost his iPhone X in the back of a Taxi in Rome. Still a chance of getting both back, but no luck yet. Poor little dude.

A single feed per user is a limitation created by social platforms. If it were sufficient people wouldn’t need to have multiple social accounts for various content. I would like a Nostr client with multi-feeds. The typical Twitter type feed, long-form content, photo galleries, and automated content from apps. These could include such as music tracks playing, videos watched, games, scores, steps walked, etc. that are tagged and can be filtered. One person’s noise is another person’s signal.

This dude gave a talk to his fourth grade class about Nostrica. I asked him how it went and he was clearly paying attention to the sessions. “I told them that Nostr is a protocol to make social media apps. It is not built on Bitcoin, but many of the apps use Bitcoin.” Likely the first elementary school class talk about Nostr.

Why are we building a Nostr product? The Nostr and lightning network combination has created an opportunity to build better solutions than what currently exist due to the decentralized network of users, interoperability of apps, seamless transactions, and simplicity. We want to replace some of the incumbent products and solutions that do have business models and revenue streams with better Nostr solutions. Yes, we’re building yet another client app. However, we don’t want to slice up the current Nostr user base, we want to figure out how to make the base of nostr users much larger.
