Had a great time catching up with our friends in Alexandria. Today we drove to Giza for a few days to see the Pyramids and visit the new Great Egyptian Museum.

We built our full support for direct messages in Akawin Deck but I decided not to release it yet. I think the metadata issue is problematic and potentially confusing to users. We’re also holding notifications back until we rework them. It will be mentions and zaps only. We’ll still have the ability to like a note and see a tally of likes on the note, but Individual notifications about likes won’t be part of the app.
