Bitcoiners hate him for it. 2022 - Elon buys Twitter on the premise of “bringing back free speech”. Bitcoiners love him for it. 2022-23 - Elon starts a subscription for blue checks. Bitcoiners hate him for it and start Nostr. 2024 - Elon goes all in for Trump. Bitcoiners love him for it. 2025 - Elon launches “DOGE” and starts to gut the federal government but also violates every American’s privacy by accessing their tax records, social security #s, etc. Bitcoiners are confused.

I’ve been going to the same barber for about 8 years. Even though he moved his chair and now it’s like an hour drive both ways, because I like him a lot. Today I mentioned the WuTang tour to him and we started talking about hiphop shows. I told him my favorite show ever was Public Enemy at the Pitchfork festival in Chicago several years ago because it was just Chuck D and Flavor Flav rhyming - instead of a bunch of hype guys yelling over each other. He starts telling this story… “Yeah he took me to one of their shows when I was a little kid and I remember being on stage but I didn’t really know how big they were because I was so young”. And then, “I have a bunch of stuff he signed for me. I just bought some of their vinyl I found, I need to have him sign that too”. So I’m like - “Wait!? You know Chuck D??” “Yeah, he’s my uncle. He was at my wedding”. 🤯
