Once I asked on Stacker News what people thought about the concept of making some sort of line of NFT showing that you supported an open source bitcoin/lightning project. And people could show them off in their wallet, a NFT for 'splicing,' one for 'teleports' and one for 'mult-path payments.' They compared it to selling drugs for charity. While I think that's a bit of a stretch, I agree, it didn't feel right. I am watching the Nostrica livestream and Will (Casarin, the Damus dev) suggested selling Nostr badges to support Damus development. Nostr Badges might be the missing piece. It shows the owner is the one that did the donating, this motivates to give. The badge cannot be resold for profit, unlike NFTs, soiling the honest ideals of the mission. What do you think about Nostr badges for supporting open source projects?

I was thinking this should be a thing for Twitter accounts, but eventually for Nostr accounts too. You put in a username (npub) and the app/bot gives you a percentage chance that the account is human. A Nostr Account Turing Test. Of course that bot will always need to be upgraded to outsmart the bots trying to outsmart the test.

I knew that Michael Saylor owned hopeDotcom and made it a Bitcoin site, but today I learned that he owns Michael.com as a personal website. i would have guessed Michael Jordan or maybe Michael Jackson's estates owned it.

There was a possible instance of selfish mining recently, and while reading up on this technique sometimes employed by mining pools I found out that anti-Bitcoin academics think that selfish mining is proof that Bitcoin will never work.

In the distant future when basically only governments or whatever use Layer one, is the game theory of Lightning messed up when you can't really honestly threaten exiting to layer one, due to how expensive that would be?

I definitely want to encourage businesses accepting Lightning, but if they autoconvert, they aren't getting my Bitcoin... butttt... Strike is perfect for this.
