Inflation leads CB to raise rates to the point that the real estate market becomes unreachable to most, who are locked in their rent forever. If Apple backpedals on Zaps ⚡️on Damus, it will create a precedent for all other apps. Difficult decision it seems, as it’s a frontal attack on their app revenue model. Easy decision if you know how 10x, 100x disruptive forces operate: there is little you can do against them. You can delay the outcome by regulating, lobbying etc. But eventually those forces will bleed out your business model to the death.
