Quoting "Radar" from Twitter: "If a government bans drugs, it should also ban Cryptocurrencies - EU MP Johan Van Overtveldt" And putting my answer: image
I leave Nostr for a couple days and now I am completely lost behind. Not a clue what is being discussed here anymore 😂
image I am not sure how to take that. Through the bitcoiner's eye, it grabbed my attention as if it could be some "anti-savings propaganda", though the article doesn't conclude with it being negative. Yes, it fails at looking into what may induce a "spending habit" but I suppose I can leave it to be a different subject for a different article. Now the author has another article called "How to Deal With ‘Inflation Creep" ( ), another simple "self-help lifestyle piece", which without surprise, again, doesn't look into potential causes. And I guess it's also ok and I'd tend to think that the author is legitimately unaware of the money being broken. But you know, when into bitcoin, we're keen to jump in and throw some "HFSP", "money printer go brrr" and "Bitcoin fixes this!". So is that a creeping narrative that normalizes staying poor or am I just getting too easily triggered?
User wishlist update: *control your data*. Is a key component for better social networks. The right for deletion, edits and choice of who's seeing your posts is important, imho. As far as I could understand, it's not so effective yet. I think that, at least new users should be warned about how's the data handled, where it is stored and how can they do if they want to control it better.
Now I'm glad when Jehova's withnesses ring at my door. "Have you seen the light?" -"**Of course, let me tell you about the Lightning Network..." ⚡😂😂⚡
