In Canada we should be splashing around in near limitless energy resources, but we are governed by compromised dullards and so we get this.
British Columbia to perma-ban the crypto industry from its electricity grid, and data centers will have to compete for power allocation every two years. Although as we are also in the process of dismantling property rights I doubt any serious business would want to take the risk anyway.

The speed with which you can wreck a nation is breathtaking. I immigrated to Harper’s Canada in the early 2000s. Wasn’t an easy feat, back then. Felt like a completely different country.
