๐Ÿšจ Rumors are circulating that Coinbase is writing #Bitcoin IOUs for BlackRock and they are suppressing price. image
Fractional-reserve #bitcoin suppresses #BTC's price. It offsets BTC's real-world scarcity by creating unbacked claims to BTC (ie, more paper claims to BTC than there are real BTC), causing BTC's price to drop, all else equal. We have entered the era of fractional-reserve bitcoin. -Caitlin Long ๐Ÿ”‘โšก๏ธ๐ŸŸ  image

Don't believe me, but from what I've been seeing, the Venezuelan opposition has been receiving donations in bitcoin. It seems that BlackWaters wants to do the job of removing the dictator if they are paid the requested amount. In fact, Erik Prince has been very active on the subject of Venezuela, he even has a countdown on Twitter. Any thoughts on this?

When I don't have control over the private keys and only some kind of partial control, sending coins to an exchange or other custodial service makes me nervous. Does anyone else have the same issue?
