Want to #asknostr if anyone has any strong opinions on their own lnd/bitcoin setup. Should I stick with Umbrel and update to 1.0+ on their custom OS, or should I try start9, or is there another service that bundles those applications? I previously had Umbrel 0.5.4 on an Ubuntu desktop I run. From what I can tell, Umbrel still has the most extensive library, but its also the hardest to mod. I also liked having the desktop functionality so I could run other non-umbrel stuff (why I never updated to their 1.0+ custom OS). Anyone have any issues running their node within a VM (or if it can be done with a single docker container)? Don't want to redo this twice, so i want to have a good think before I start.

lightning node broke due to me being an idiot. took hours to figure out how to recover with my setup. recovering force closed all channels. Half recovered so far. It is nights spent awake like these where I deeply understand what they mean by "self-custodial lightning is not user friendly".

I find myself blowing through 5+ hours a day easy and Im starting to value the ones I do subscribe to less, so I am running low on good content. Im pretty tired of politics/news podcasts, but they are the ones that have the most frequent daily content. Bitcoin shows are also generally getting stale, but I curate those based on the guests/topic now more than anything now. I love audiobooks (a nice collection on a home server), but my programming/working brain does prefer digesting conversational talking as opposed to 20+ hour complex/jumping narratives. Anything good with lots of volume/hours? If the content is evergreen, I'd be fine to go down an old catalogue of content.
