#newtonostr questions: How many relays should I be writing to? Whats the best practice? How do I choose the best ones? What are the criteria?

What is the best client everyone is using? Looking for good web and Windows clients. Using gossip but it does not render media posts (only shows links). Also UI is clunky. I tried Iris on the web but when I put my private key its didnt transfer my follows. I am so confused with this ecosystem to be honest.
