Making a #chessboard a different way than normal. Turning out kinda cool. Filled the pockets with sand and rocks then flooded with a lightly green tinted #epoxy. 
Can confirm. I've done a lot in my life and out of every experience and accomplishment the one I wouldn't ever give back is raising my children.

Finally got some spare time and took it to get a bit more organized. Cut the foam on my #laser and now my stair tread fixture is in a nice carry case instead of thrown in a bucket. I think I might do this for more of my #tools. #woodworking #maker #makestr
Enjoyed good bourbon and great conversation last night with a friend. 
First go at a #chessboard. Just got done pouring epoxy. I think this thing is gonna be a winner. Making for a coworker who has a set of #chess peices but no board to match. Wood is african anigre. I'll be constructing the border out of the same. Now for the week long wait before breaking it out of the form so I can surface, frame and polish. 
Wifes christmas present turned out pretty cool. 
Broke the welder out again to make a stand for a vacuum pump. 
Walnut and paduck make a good combo. Can't wait to see this one oiled up.

.003 tolerance on all dimensions out of nylon on a manual lathe. That was tedious 
Don't mind the white, that's just protective masking on clear polycarbonate. I just made this #custom rear window for a #canam #utv and it turned out beautifully. #makestr #fabricator #offroading 
Finally built a #routersled for the shop. Now I can flatten boards up to 89"x46" adding new #capital to the #workshop is one of my favorite things. I designed all of the plates in Autocad and routed them at work out of paper phenolic. (Yes I can make, sell and ship sets preferably for #bitcoin) build was way cheaper than I've found people selling sets online. Hopefully I can earn a few extra #sats using
