After seeing Sparrow wallet passed all audits with flying colors and reading more about how Sparrow handles the BIP39 passphrase and protects private keys I’m curious why a software wallet (via Sparrow) with a strong passphrase isn’t a viable long-term solution? Or at minimum at least viable as one (convenient) key in a 2/3 multi sig setup. Can people who understand this stuff on a technical level explain what I am missing in the trade offs? #asknostr

Be very careful burying your keys. If you don’t have a way to remember exactly where you buried yer keys they will easily get lost. Volume is very deceiving and dirt is unforgiving. Can’t imagine how much gold has been lost to careless burying over the millennia.

Bitcoin doesn’t get to where it’s going without a lot of bloody battles. If you’re on this mission, better be a warrior. There will be many more casualties.

I am physically, economically and ideologically unrecognizable to myself 20 years ago. Persistence and hard work will change you fundamentally. People want to see changes in months, but I’ve realized the timeframe for true metamorphosis is measured in decades.

Love this movie and I love Jim Morrison. When I listen to his music I understand bits of the man that aren’t explicitly articulated. I can relate to him in certain ways. He was undoubtedly too brilliant to go unnoticed and too crazy to stay alive.

Crushed 3 sizable builds this year, 75% done with a fourth medium sized build, and have 2 more lined up in August and September. Thankful for the busy and fruitful bear. No better way to spend the red year than busting ass, being productive and getting experience.

Well this bear market finally had an actual disaster. Really sad one at that. Now all that’s left is a lower low in the next few months to bring sentiment to its knees and reset everything. Then we can heal and bitcoin will win for a few years until we all get humbled again. Time is a flat circle.

Used to use single sig and a passphrase and on paper that was plenty secure. But the unknown unknowns entered the chat. Now in the name of the unknown unknowns and whatever new crazy shit the future brings, I’m going with multi sig with a passphrase and three different signers from three separate sources. Generate own entropy only. This feels bullet proof long-term.
