The "Lollipop": At the top of these stems, it produces a dense, cone-shaped cluster of bright golden-yellow bracts (the leaf-like structures).
The vivid yellow cone sits perfectly at the end of the straight stem, making it look exactly like a bright, colorful lollipop popping out of the green foliage.
Interestingly, the actual flowers are those narrow white petals you see emerging from the sides of the yellow cone! They don't last very long, but the bright yellow "lollipop" bracts stay vibrant for months
