bigger flex is to have success without social media

I have been struggling with thinking clearly about my business and social media. Everyone who runs a business uses and pays to use nearly every platform. Most will say I am leaving money on the table by not having a content strategy or not selling online. I used to pay a full time content creator and sold product online. But I can't say there was an overt ROI on the content creator. One random girl came in and made a little video that for whatever reason got 10x the engagement than shop posts ever got. And while doing well online after fees, materials, shipping, labor, warehouse, inventory and dealing with customer support the profit didn't bring me any joy. It was more for more sake. At the end of the day I only need to support my family. I don't need to be cool or known on the internet. The only problem is that it leaves me feeling like I am making a big mistake. That I am being complacent. That I am losing out on dollars. Am I crazy to want a business that doesn't have social media? It all feels so fake and gross.

I have a hunch that eating fresh living produce raw from a deeply rich living soil populates your gut with healthy microbiology. And that the same microbiology made the produce more nutrient dense by making more minerals available to the plant. Crazy I know.
