With all the "hacks", " leaks", data for sell and data to stay compliant what could go wrong. This will break down into anarchy. Welcome anarchy. View quoted note →
LATAM is so fucked if they don't move to a Monero based economy soon. They will run their businesses like always over WhatsApp (because they don't know better) and get mapped out one by one. Ciao. View quoted note →
It doesn't stop with the promotion of central bank regulators. We also love our anonymous Bitcoin powdered fiat credit cards. Seriously. As a Bitcoiner if you go to such a conference you completely lost it. I do understand that decentralised protocols are not sponsoring your flat conference. But why then have it in the first place. Bitcoin merchant adoption in 2012-2016 went so well because taking the risk back then was accompanied and compensated for by rising fiat prices, which for the merchants made a big difference. Bitcoin is more or less capitalised (the price discovery left is basically the inflation hedge). So taking the risk of shop acceptance from a business perspective is simply not there anymore. If you Bitcoiners want to have a second chance for global adoption as a MoE the recipe for taking the risk needs to be adequate reward. I do think the only network that has currently the total backing of all OG factions (Bitcoin, Ethereum, Bitcoin Cash and others) is Monero. With its $10 B in marketcap it can compensate merchants many times even if it is only growing within the crypto native scene. Merchants will do the work against regulators when they get paid. Mark this note. It's a description of how to move forward and hopefully a self-fullfilling prophesy. Focus on Monero for MoE. It's easier to explain where Bitcoin failed and why Monero is what Bitcoin should have been than driving Bitcoin adoption from where we are. Start with cash and tech savy business first. See you on the other side.
Regulated by the Czech central bank is now how "Bitcoiners" advertise their conference sponsors. This tells you all you need to know about the state of Bitcoin. View quoted note →
Tor nodes (Monero) have a very limited uptime/stability. Why is that? I know that onion addresses have sometimes problems to stay connected for long, but some sites manage exceptionally well with basically zero downtime. What is wrong with how Monero onion RPC nodes are configured so most of them are unreachable most of the time. It should be the default to connect to a Tor RPC.
