I find myself having weird slips of the tongue recently. I say 'Bitcoin' or 'Nostr' as replacement for other words, such as: 'Let's order this on Nostr (Amazon)' or 'We can go get some more Bitcoin (firewood)'. ๐Ÿ˜„
Since Nostr is taking over the centralized social media world, right??!! Here's a client I'd love to see run on Nostr one day - a clone of 'Smule'. Smule is a music, singing and karaoke app, and actually like your own little recording studio on the phone. Lovely stuff! Unfortunately, run centrally from California with all the stars and bling bling shenanigans that we are used to in the legacies. Well, at least it has a proper subscription model and doesn't run entirely on ads and data harvesting. Another positive side effect of the Wim Hof method is that it increases your lung volume and enhances control over your voice. I'm singing for a number of years already and since I practice the Wim Hof breathing exercise regularly, it gets more and more fun. Worth trying if you're a singer or use your voice a lot. When you do your basic Wim Hof breathing exercise, and feel comfortable with your practice already, it's well worth checking out what happens to your state of mind and body when you go into your 5th, 6th + ... round. You may find that your deep breathing becomes more natural, more easy. Wave after wave you just pump the oxygen in without effort. The retention time flies, thoughts become less, body sensations, pleasant or unpleasant, can be observed more calmly. And during the recovery breath hold the world around you is toned down, the focus now is naturally on your inner center. Especially after a deeper breathing session, I carry a heightened awareness of subtle body sensations with me throughout the day. I'm calm, I'm observant, it's priceless. Give it a go.
