if ordinals increase competition for fees in transactions on the base layer of bitcoin does this not incentive transaction volume to move to lightening? The block size remains the same so the blockchain bloat argument doesn’t work. i am a purist and don’t want ordinals on the blockchain, but who am i to tell users what they can and can’t do. If they follow the consensus rules and pay their fee, 🤷‍♂️ correct if i’m wrong please.

using Nostr and Zion lately and reading Jeff Booths book, “The Price of Tomorrow.” i can’t help but think are we too early with Nostr and DID. Only a small section of the population knows Bitcoin and even fewer understand it. Then all of us here are Zapping each other like teenagers at their first homecoming. Will it be the next wave of innovation that changes how we interact and send value over the internet? Are we the pioneers? time will tell…..i’ll enjoy the ride either way.

Using Current right now and love Damus. How are we gonna decide which client to use for Nostr? At this rate, a new client will be introduced every week that is better than the previous.

ok, just downloaded the Current app that has Nostr with Bitcoin and it is already improving the. Nostr experience. Now, Damus has to add an embedded lightening wallet to keep up.
