I've been away from my node and Lightning for well over a year now. While I'm impressed with the insane pace of lightning adoption, especially on Nostr, it feels like it's been reigned in by legacy banking. KYC to set up a lightning wallet? Gone are the wild west days of Bitcoin/LN, it seems.

I’m here because listened to @Jeff Booth on WiM (Episode 575). There was a lot to chew on from that episode. My big takeaway: Reinforce systems you wish to see succeed and move away from those you don’t. How often do we tell ourselves “It has to be this way” or “There is no other choice”?
