gm builders!
I am in the process of deploying an instance of the brand new relay implementation I am working on…
As we speak, it dosn’t store anything… it just relays events and forgets about them instantly. It should evolve quickly and catch up with missing functionalities as time goes by as I am working full time on it.
I will soon need some traffic to stress test it a little. Let’s keep in touch if you’re interested in giving a hand by adding it to your relays list.

Exploring nostr development… reach out if you’re a builder!
What’s the current status of group chat development?
Is it even doable with aes-256-cbc?
I can’t wait to drop my personal chat server in favor of these…
A top feature I am looking for in that context is relay selection. Would help avoiding sending private conversations on dozens of relays.
Purple pilling a friend on android... what's the most polished client on that platform?
Paid relays should charge recurrent fee... otherwise, that's unsustainable.
Revenues can't stop while server fees continue to add up.
Seems likely that Bitcoin is being bought by institutions… price action really starts to pick up during US business hours….
Ladies and gentlemen, introducing the chocolate starfish… and the hod-dog flavored water…
NIP-57 question...
I see that some new kinds of tags, aside from e and p, have been added, namely: bolt11, description and preimage.
NIP-01 filters still don’t include any of them.
Am I right to think that relays can’t filter events with them?
Hello front end developers...
What's your favorite javascript widget library? Would probably need to draw realtime charts, gauges, stuff like that.
Building a FOSS nostr dashboard, so it has to be cutting edge.
As a kid, I used to dismantle my toys once they were broken in hopes of fixing them… I then quickly realized that what I really liked about this process wasn’t the fixing itself, but the learnings and discoveries.
Fast forward today, I am building a nostr relay. Using Damus as the first client… checking what it’s requesting and making sure to respond as accurately as I can.
Feels just like fixing toys as a kid… having a blast!
Feeling grateful for that open network that’s being built in front of our eyes.

Potential minor bug report…
Messing around with snort, testing my relay implementation...
I created a new user and connected to it locally with an url such as ws://localhost:1234.
The relay is in early stages of development, so it’s most probably faulty. Thing is,I can’t edit or remove it from snort’s settings. Clicking on the gear does nothing.
