back at relay coding today, after a nice friday with my boy who was sick…
starting to see some tiny traffic flowing in the instance, with all kinds of requests, some that don’t even make sense. can’t wait to see what will happen when the address gets published.

#[0] why "max_message_length": 524288?
Just wondering if this number has a specific meaning…
If nostr clients had private chat rooms with specific relay selection, I'd definitely be able to instantly onboard dozens of permanent users by the end of the week.
Meanwhile, gotta use a bunch of different shitty chat apps depending on who I'm talking with. This is killing my attention span and cell phone battery.
guys, new idea 🤯
imagine a subscription based project that comes with a nostr bot… the subscriber would be connected to the project in realtime and be notified for renewal requests or whatever other useful communications… those could also go both ways. and then the customer could be able to renew the subscription by zapping the bot.
does that make any sense?

can’t wait to listen to the newest #[0] video!!!
Watching my new bitcoin core node slowly syncing... makes me want to create a bot that sends progress notifications in nostr DMs.

creating a brand new Bitcoin node… can’t wait to download all those pretty inscriptions… 🙄
Wow it's impossible to follow a thread rn...
Been replying shit from a thread to another one by accident 😂
Relay operators... imagine as an admin, get inside the relay with a shell and see sockets as processes... being able to debug them on the fly... that's what I'm working on.
Looking for an unmetered VPS to run a public relay. I need to test my implementation in the wild.
Who offers that?
Strangely enjoying seeing events in JSON format in my shell…

watching the global feed flow in raw format in my shell. noticed those “t” tags attached to some events. what are they for?

I am in the process of deploying an instance of the brand new relay implementation I am working on…
As we speak, it dosn’t store anything… it just relays events and forgets about them instantly. It should evolve quickly and catch up with missing functionalities as time goes by as I am working full time on it.
I will soon need some traffic to stress test it a little. Let’s keep in touch if you’re interested in giving a hand by adding it to your relays list.
