If you wanna mass media, then there's already global feed and default clients facade as an entry-point for novices who never read about Nostr before. Those who bored of it, just go deeper for more relays and niche clients. Noisy person-targeted ads never change this direction and never end well for media.

Yakihonne client didn't open until I just rebooted my mobile Internet xD
I actually believe that quality of people in whole and averagely also increases with complex advancement in technology, education and spirituality (leave hierarchical epistemic for children, maximum teens plz).

AI bubble already has demonstrated what fake progress is. Which is not even humanistic like it was in 2000s-2010s.

Repeat again: Nostr is a niche protocol and it needs to build and establish new purpose for using it (which is again: self-personalization of feeds and self-diversification of relays). Otherwise it's not different in quality from big tech/gov platforms if you're so hurry for making Nostr just another ad channel. I think, non-techie content creators also need to get smarter and more interesting.

Haha, event kind 24 for public messages alerts is so "smart" move. Just in playing the same "bad cop & good cop" tactics, which eventually makes free Internet sh*tty: from one side there are heavy restrictions on access to non-certified nodes (gov/big tech bad cop), on the other side there are ad noise which kills self-personalization of feeds and self-diversification of relays (proto-big tech/influencer good cop). However, it's still far from another mass media retardation bc note length is usually limited for several KBs and bots have limited computational resources to crawl users massively, but it's one of mid-points to it.
Luckily nostr-rs-relay has an option to disable certain kinds of events (including the nostr-rs-relay-x fork). I just disable kind 24 on my relays. And I always use Nostr for connecting with people who share my interests and worldview, to learn new stuff, to share my technologies and knowledge, to keep the Internet in hands of ordinary people like us.

And then believe if that is gonna make new symbiotic equilibrium or not. Depending on morale of agents.

I still see many posts which fail to understand an essence of polycrisis: sorta "we need revolution", "we need to peacefully disobey", "we just need new coin/tool X which enhances privacy" etc. No, this time won't be like past times. They can still employ AI, IoT surv. even when ordinary people will struggle with access to Free Global Internet, they can enforce people to work harder for less with combination of this plus retardy think tanks. Polycrisis is exactly an antagonist to diversity and dynamic, fundamentally non-deterministic nature of evolution in open systems. Best you can do is copying <<<their>>> behavioral patterns and do better than them, including making new stuff for Nostr with your own relays, glue protocols etc. (that's why dying civilizations always want to increase wealth inequality, worsen education and medicine and tighten surveillance). The thing is that they see entire world as closed system and try to convey this meme in different forms, including pseudo-scientific speculations on nature of Universe.
