What is the most plug and play way to set up an at home miner? I generate most of my power off solar. By around 10-11 AM the batteries are full and the panels are idle. I would love to put that extra power to work if at all possible, but I don't have a ton of time to sink into this. Any thoughts? In an ideal world the miner would also be a hot water heater as we currently only heat water when on the grid. #Asknostr #mining #BTC #solar #energy

When Americans ask me what it is like living in Zambia vs. The west coast of the US (Where I grew up), I like to tell them that Zambia feels like a place with a future and PDX and SEA feel like places that are dying. I think this map is the reason why. image

We homeschool. We were attending a family conference and there is a children's section. One of the children's teachers told our 7 year old she should go to school because shes not learning good at home. By learning, I think the teacher meant sitting still in class. Any thoughts on the value of learning to sit still in class for homeschool kids? #homeschool #education #family

I am always a little worried about digital book burners, but am also an avid consumer of audio books and 'have' an Audible library. Is there a way to back up audible to avoid the digital book burners? #Farenheit451

This weeks themes in environmental science are relationships and ethics. What are the core relationships between humanity and our natural environment. Are we simply another organsim with no more value or authority than a rock? Are we the owners and lords of all nature? Or are we fullfilling the role of stewards and overseers? #environmentalscience #teaching #ethic #landethic

Antipode map on wikipedia. It is crazy how the antipode for most of Europe, Africa and much of Asia is simply the Pacific Ocean. #geography #mapstr #map
