13 leadership habits that actually work:
1) be yourself (authenticity can't be faked)
2) be committed to excellence (no shortcuts)
3) be positive (hardest during startup/tech building)
4) be prepared (luck = preparation meeting opportunity)
5) be detail-oriented (small things like tucked shirts build pride)
6) be organized (systems matter)
7) be accountable (no excuses)
8) be near + farsighted (near is easy, far is hard)
9) be fair (consistency builds trust)
10) be firm (boundaries create clarity)
11) be flexible (adapt or die)
12) believe in yourself (confidence is contagious)
13) be a leader (show > tell)
10 leadership mistakes that kill companies:
1) paralyzing patience (action beats perfection)
2) extreme delegation (too much/too little)
3) playing favorites (kills culture)
4) excessive socializing (blurs boundaries)

6) avoiding hiring decisions (team quality = everything)
7) delegating core duties (leadership can't be outsourced)
8) dodging accountability (blame game = death)
9) creating comfort zones (tension drives growth)
10) weak standards (high bars build pride)

2) clear expectations win
3) discipline = pride + details + respect
4) lead by voice + example
5) show up at the front
6) don't overload juniors

Feeling lonely or misunderstood while driving change is normal. Stay true to your convictions, but keep your ears open for valuable signal along the way.
The only things holding us back are willpower and putting in the work.
I want not only to shape the future but also to make it look and feel like the future.
Calm and steady > rushing tides
Be wary when everyone is excited

Controversial AI take: The true measure of intelligence is not in answers but in questions.
Maybe we do need AI-driven democracy: Train an AI on citizens' will, use it to make decisions. Periodically retrain with new input. No more politicians, just people's voices amplified. A feedback loop of direct democracy.

Peace > Happiness
Everyone seems to be talking about "founder mode" lately. It may work for Airbnb, but let's not forget the stellar performance of "manager mode" giants like Microsoft, Apple, Amazon & Nvidia. These tech leaders have thrived with it scaling to unprecedented heights. "Founder mode" has merits and I've also learned one size doesn't fit all.

Life Lesson: Don't assume you deserve anything by default. Work for what you want and need. If something is given to you, it's a gift. Don't expect it.
