Just remember Dads, your kids learn far more from what you do than what you say. I’ve been talking a lot to my kids about integrity - do the right thing even when no one is watching. And yesterday I get called out for my driving habits after I explained to the kids why I had to slow down when we passed several police officers clocking people. “Dad is that integrity if you speed when the police aren’t there?”

It’s always weird to me when I hear “never going to give you up” played unironically on the radio.

It is becoming more clear to me that a lot of things that I considered common sense in parenting is not common at all.
