If you use StartOS it's definitely worth checking out the official and community app registries. Lots of new stuff has been added including a new Nostr relay that's apparently 9x more efficient than strfry and has a "spider mode" that archives notes from people you follow (similar to Chronicle it seems like), an NSec Bunker, a Karakeep alternative that has better local LLM integration (including the ability to ask things like "what was that article I saved a week ago about XYZ?"), and an aggregator for Nostr long form notes, media, YouTube, Rumble, and RSS feeds in one. The relay is called Wisp but unsure if it's any relation to the client. Doesn't appear to be from the GitHub page. Speaking of which I was thinking of firing up my own Gitea instance so I can self-host my projects off my Start9 machine too.

**WWG now has Nostr support.** It acts as a watch only wallet utilising your own node to notify you of transactions. It can also be configured to send automatic balance updates on a periodic basis. It uses NIP-17 DMs with NIP-44 encryption and NIP-59 gift wrapping to send these notifications via Nostr. You enter your relays as part of the config to ensure the DMs are delivered to you. WWG generates its own npub it sends its DMs from. The watch only wallet works by checking your xpubs via your own node. The xpubs are only ever stored locally and are encrypted at rest. More notification providers and other functionality will be added soon on an ongoing basis.

Really cool new multitasking feature in Android 17 specifically for tablets and foldables that's also included in GrapheneOS 👀 Running Amethyst like this right now, works very well. Works with any Android app, lets you bring it up in the corner and use it anywhere in the OS. Very close to desktop level multitasking on a phone actually executed well. It's genuinely a more pleasant UX than the windowed multitasking Apple put in iPadOS imo. Anyway, I'm going to be posting that GrapheneOS guide I've been promising this weekend!
