Finally got around to check out the latest Sony State of Play & Nintendo Direct presentations. Aside from FFVII Revelation, Metroid and Zelda OOT RaMake, nothing really wowed me. Didn’t move the needle in wanting a Switch 2 or PS5 Pro. If anything it reminded me I need to spend my monies elsewhere. #gamer #gaming #videogames #vidyagames

It’s been years but my replacement Dreamcast is still hanging in there. The CMOS is ded and controller port 1 is a bit finicky but still plays what I have even if my collection has dwindled over the years. FINALLY after telling EVERYONE on the shop floor that “THAT” one lift we use for heavy machinery hoisting was unsafe, that only a few old hands used cause “it’s fine”, they’ve now collectively decided that yes, yes it is unsafe. Makes me wonder what they broke that was the limit. 🤔

Everyone at work as at their limit. 2025 hasn’t been kind to any of us at work. Mass walks outs, few rehires, rehires that happened quit/resigned quickly. Lack of parts/resources and managerial incompetence. Something has to give and soon. 😪
