The first three posts in my personal feed are from people I don't follow.

Build your own airgapped, stateless bitcoin signing device for less than most hardware wallets. 🤘 Not set up for zaps, if you'd like to donate to our contributors please go to https://donate.seedsigner.com
Is there a way to get my Damus feed to default to “posts“ instead of “posts and replies“? For some reason that little detail drives me crazy.
Our SeedSigner Telegram Community touched 1,500 members today!
It's a great place to ask build questions, learn more about our signer's features, and interact with our contributors.

So confused -- in Damus why are there people showing up in my feed that I don't follow? Don't appear to be re-posts by people I do follow... Stumped.

Earlier this month we made a contributor distribution from the SeedSigner Development fund; additional info to follow in this brief 🧵 but here is the transaction:
The SeedSigner Development fund is kind of like the House Cup at Hogwarts, where points are awarded to contributors based on their work, except that our points carry forward perpetually & contributors receive a proportion of funds distributed based on their point total.
Donations that are received by the project are channeled into a 4-of-6 multi-signature wallet that is managed by myself and 4 other stakeholders in the project. I hold two keys but if I were to disappear, the other key holders would still have access to the funds.
This distribution consisted of a total of 0.14 BTC, which was ~$4,000 at the time. Two new contributors and a total of 50 points were added to the table.
DesobedienteTec has put a ton of work into SeedSigner OS, as well as documenting methods for removing wireless comms capability from various Pi models.
Jean has been extremely helpful with code review and release testing, & is always willing to help people in our Telegram chat.
The remainder of contributors are:
KeithMukai: Lead Developer
newtonick: Lead Maintainer
easyuxd: Lead UI/UX Design
jayparalejas: Web Dev
StepanSnigirev: Embit Creator/Maintainer
ShadowsLewis: Logo/Design
surfacePlasmon: Very Early Supporter
ThisisMarcG also received a one-time award of 0.003 BTC for his efforts to improve our Github repo documentation, especially making the software verification process as approachable as possible even for less technical users.
Our point system is intended to reward early contributors as well as those who continue to contribute over the life span of the SeedSigner project. I make it a point to share info on these distributions so donors can see exactly where their funds are going.
I always wish we could more proportionally reward our contributors relative to the amount of time and expertise they lovingly give to the SeedSigner project. It's a passion project for us but we appreciate any sats shared from those receiving value from the project.
If you would like to donate any amount, large or small, on-chain or via LN, anything and everything is appreciated:
All zaps to this account also are sent to our development fund.
A big thank you to all of our contributors and those who have donated to the project, including Matt Odell who generously shares Citadel Dispatch listener support funds w/ us.
Still plenty of room for growth and development w/ our little bitcoin signer project -- stay tuned. 🙂
