I actually love how quickly a new place becomes comfortable for me. You know when you go on holiday and by the first day you’re already saying, “when we go back 𝘩𝘰𝘮𝘦" but really, you’re going back to a hostel, airbnb, hotel, or someone’s apartment? Today I’m pet sitting overnight at someone’s house (they booked me through a pet sitting app), and call me homeowner because I feel like one 😂 This is why I know I’d LOVE house sitting around the world, seeing new places while looking after people’s pets. But that won’t be happening long-term for as long as my own four-legged companion is with me - and honestly, I hope that’s for a very long time 🐈‍⬛🐾💜

Unnecessary fact: Chocolate cake will always and forever be my last choice. Some people find that very hard to compute. I'll have a chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream or cream of some sort to balance the richness of the chocolate, but I was always a white chocolate / vanilla flavour kid and that's not changed since 😂 Cake fruit, vanilla, Victoria sponge cake, red velvet (dash of chocolate there)... 🤤 Now I want cake.

Yesterday I randomly got an advert for a show... and ended up buying myself tickets to watch who was my first favourite artist in life, between ages 10-14/15. We didn't have that much money and noone liked him either, so I never saw him live. Eventually, I expanded my taste in music and I met the band that literally saved my life. I kinda lost track of the other artist. I would listen to some of his songs every now and then but didn't know he still played at all all these years later - he's doing a 25th anniversary tour! 👵🏽😂 At the beginning of the year I also went to watch a band from my teenage who had dissolved 20 years ago. It is a year of fulfilling childhood/teenage dreams 💜 Today I put on this artist's playlist while making dinner and I sang every. single. word of his first two albums at the top of my lungs 😂 (public apology to my brother who listened to it all) I may not remember a single physics lesson but damn sure I remember these. This year my inner child is healing through the music I never thought I'd see live 💜
