Two weeks ago I read that a negative thought can linger in our minds for up to 24 hours, while a positive one lasts only about 8 - and so aiming for a 3:1 minimum ratio helps rewire. Sort of the grounds of meditation, but numerically. Since then, a friend and I have been sharing our three positives of the day almost every night, whether big or small. I actually love how quickly a new place becomes comfortable for me. You know when you go on holiday and by the first day you’re already saying, “when we go back 𝘩𝘰𝘮𝘦" but really, you’re going back to a hostel, airbnb, hotel, or someone’s apartment? Today I’m pet sitting overnight at someone’s house (they booked me through a pet sitting app), and call me homeowner because I feel like one 😂 This is why I know I’d LOVE house sitting around the world, seeing new places while looking after people’s pets. But that won’t be happening long-term for as long as my own four-legged companion is with me - and honestly, I hope that’s for a very long time 🐈‍⬛🐾💜

My greatest learning this 2025 - little Juls, and the one from only a few years ago, would be so proud. I am proud 💜
