The way something so routinary can ignite so many memories... Images of wonderful, loving, vivid moments flash through the chain of thoughts in microseconds, leading from one memory to the next... Making sense of why this pulls the emotions that it does. I can even hear our laughter, which was plenty, and my own thoughts at the time - peaceful and grateful while I observed and absorbed what life had brought my way, what we had built from the chances. This house isn’t connected to those memories at all, but the appreciation of the light, of the little things, is. Very interesting to get to hear the different thoughts and feelings from different individuals around today's events.

I'm gonna leave the babies fed and ready because going to watch the moon and shooting stars tonight in an absolutely freezing weather sounds like the best thing to do right now, tbh. The night sky couldn't be any clearer, so my mission now is finding the spot to go to. ✨🌙
