Started making my MIL's urn yesterday. It has been over a month. Our give-a-damn is busted most days as we zombie through tasks and try to keep everything afloat. Several years ago, I went through a lot and spent most days sleeping till 2 pm, eating a taco a day, and mustering up as much enthusiasm as someone on chemo. The support I had then, kept me from becoming homeless. A real, Bella Swan in Breaking Dawn moment. This time of turmoil sure feels like that, but now I have someone who makes me feel like it all matters. Someone to live for tomorrow, someone to keep me feeling like, no I can't just give up. Days definitely come and go, flash by, as my knuckles and joints feel like they're eroding. #loss #urn #pottery #ernest

An update in OCP lives. Probate fucking sucks, might get the news we may be homeless soon if medical insurance doesn't cover the medical bills for my late MIL. We moved into her guest house while we were paying off our property to build our place on. We both worked in the building her bookkeeping business was in. My husband got lucky and his business will probably work out alright, but as for everything else, is just up in the air. I have had severe anxiety for months about this. It's like my subconscious knew something bad was going to happen. A total freak accident and my MIL passed away in the front yard. Through mourning still, I've loaded the kiln twice. Moving through the motions, with the deadlines of festivals I have to set up at are quickly approaching. A break in temperature will help with morale, but the loss of a loved one is still a looming lion on our backs. Lost my Mother in Law 4/10/2025. We've been mourning for 9 days and it feels like 15 minutes. Settling affairs for your mom is so hard after an accident. I'm making her an urn so she will be in the most valuable vessel to our family. I've finally got some grasp of God's Will and I am evermore in appreciation for life. Having a cold one looking at silver linings. I have a lot of therapy to pay for so I'd appreciate it if you would support my business.
