In 2019 and 2020 I wrote several songs for a studio project called "Gilligan". In the style of the peak britsh rock era of the mid/late 90s we recorded two EPs with two different band line-ups. Only me and my drummer played on both releases. We recorded all the songs in his studio and even did the basic tracking for the 2nd EP as live takes. I am recording my own #music onto #tape and I love everything about it.

It's funny. Imagine you bought an album on #vinyl back in the day, paid about 15 Mark for it and played it uncountable times since then because you absolutely love it. Even today, you still listen to it. The artist got (a tiny part) of your money as a one-time payment. If you calculate your price per hour, it would actually be a pretty bad deal for the artist. Now, imagine your favourite artist is publishing this album with #V4V and you could stream sats every time you listen or even boost it as much as you want. That's what I call a fair deal based on free markets.
