I paint in oil. Inspired by time, silence, and light. Each work is unique and for sale in Bitcoin. β†’ https://isolabellart.it.com Paintings notes: #isolabellart Art gallery: https://gallery.isolabellart.it.com
image A warm glass in my hands. Turmeric and ginger slowly unfolding, like thoughts finding their quiet. It’s not a miracle cure. Just a simple act: taking care of yourself, softly. 🌿
GM #Nostr image Sometimes in Italy we have an β€œAmerican breakfast”. Eggs. Bacon. Coffee. But it feels different. In Italy breakfast is usually quick. Standing at a bar. Just an espresso. So when we sit down for something like this it almost feels like we’re borrowing time from another culture. Slower. Heavier. More deliberate. Not better. Just different. And maybe that’s why it feels special.
image No new brushstrokes today. Only protection. A transparent layer to seal everything: attempts, corrections, and visible decisions. Two different paintings, born from the same need: to slow down long enough to see what remains. Now they’re ready to leave the studio. And find a place where they can be admired every day. #art #painting #artstr #isolabellart
A small curiosity about Italy that few people know: for centuries painters learned by copying the masters. It was not considered a lack of originality. It was respect. Even today when I paint I often start from a painting I love and let it pass through my own eyes. It’s the oldest way to learn. GN #nostr
image Foreign painters have been coming to Italy for centuries. Not for fame. Not for money. For light. The same light that touched the walls of Venice or the hills of Tuscany hundreds of years ago. When I paint I’m still chasing that same light. GM #Nostr
image Sometimes the most beautiful colors in Italy are not in paintings but on old sun-burned walls.
Wanting to protect my art from artificial intelligence is like wanting to protect my voice from those who listen to me. My art and my voice feel β€œmine” when I imagine earning something from them. But the truth is simpler, and maybe harder: they’re not really mine. They belong to the world I live in, to whoever receives them, to whoever lets them resonate. I create them. But once they exist, they travel on their own. #art #artstr #ai #isolabellart
