I paint in oil. Inspired by time, silence, and light. Each work is unique and for sale in Bitcoin. โ†’ https://isolabellart.it.com Paintings notes: #isolabellart Art gallery: https://gallery.isolabellart.it.com
Bitcoiners on Twitter make me laugh. They want a monetary revolution, but canโ€™t take the smallest step: switching apps. โ€œBitcoin will change the worldโ€โ€ฆ yet they stay where the only thing that changes is the algorithm. On Nostr, they might get paid. On Twitter, they are the product. But hey, at least there they feel โ€œseen.โ€
True wealth does not lie in what you manage to keep for yourself. But in what you manage to give away. And, sometimes, the most precious things in life cannot be measured in terms of money. I stack sats. I sell paintings for Bitcoin. I believe in hard money. And yet. The things that stay with me the longest are never the ones I can measure. A sincere comment under a painting. An unexpected compliment from a stranger. Someone who stopped, really stopped, to look. That's not nothing. That's everything.
My favourite word in English, because of the way it sounds and the way it rolls off the tongue, is โ€˜Unbelievableโ€™. Whatโ€™s your favourite Italian word? ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡น๐ŸคŒ
Experiment: I asked Claude to compare the main Nostr clients and rank them. I didn't suggest anything. The result: ๐Ÿฅ‡ Wisp โ€” "the best features/simplicity ratio in the category" ๐Ÿฅˆ Amethyst โ€” the protocol's lab, but heavy ๐Ÿฅ‰ Primal โ€” great onboarding, but outdated DM spec and minimal relay control Even AIs keep up. ๐Ÿ‘‰
image I don't paint Bitcoin art. My paintings are landscapes. Light. Silence. But I sell them for Bitcoin, because it's the only money I trust. Someone noticed. And made an exception for me. @Bitcoin Art Magazine has dedicated a page to my work. In a moment when sales are quiet, this kind of recognition means more than I can say. Thank you to everyone there for seeing something worth including. ๐Ÿ‘‰ bitcoinartmagazine.com/artist/isolabellart/ #art #artstr #isolabellart #bitcoin
Even if you appreciate my art and have been following me for a long time, there is something about me that you may not know. After making my first paintings in 1989, I stopped making art in 1992 for no particular reason. It was only the love for my wife that prompted me, exactly 30 years later, in May 2022, to pick up my brushes again. I have not stopped since then. The most surprising thing is that by a simple stroke of luck my first painting was sold almost a year later, in March 2023. Right around that time, @Will created the #zaps on Nostr. This event ignited in me the idea of selling my paintings in Bitcoin. The rest of the story is encapsulated here, among my notes and other stuff.
