I paint in oil. Inspired by time, silence, and light. Each work is unique and for sale in Bitcoin. β†’ https://isolabellart.it.com Paintings notes: #isolabellart Art gallery: https://gallery.isolabellart.it.com
image (title: ASCENT, dimensions: 30x50cm - first step, proof-of-work in progress) I've defined the spaces and blocked in the colours with chalks. Now the oil work begins. I'll work by subtraction β€” a full base of the darkest areas, then the lit parts will emerge with brief brushstrokes of colour. A different method than usual. We'll see how the canvas responds. Do you know what’s great about Nostr? It’s that here I can be vulnerable and no one will ever make fun of me, because anyone who did would be shunned as insensitive and would lose more credibility than they’d gain. Because in a space where vulnerability is seen as an act of courage, those who target it often end up revealing something about themselves: not strength, but an inability to face the humanity of others without putting on a mask.
For new creators who’ve just joined Nostr, there’s one thing to keep in mind: on Meta, X, and TikTok, creators get paid by a platform. On Nostr, creators get paid by people. No algorithms to please, no revenue-sharing program controlled by a company, no middlemen taking a cut of the value you create. If your content is useful, insightful, or inspiring, those who appreciate it can support you directly with a zap. More than a creator economy, Nostr restores something the internet lost: a direct relationship between creators and their audience. ⚑🧑
- Leaving Twitter to focus solely on Nostr, then returning and buying the blue tick as well. - Never having left in the first place, remaining in obscurity without a blue tick, but promoting Nostr. Which is worse?
On Twitter, a badge doesn’t make you anyone. It just makes you easier to find. On Nostr, nobody finds you, but at least you don’t have to pay to find out.
When I follow a modern artist and admire their paintings up close, only to realise they were created using AI and therefore exist only digitally – without paint or brushes on canvas – I feel cheated. Of course, I appreciate the idea, but not the execution. Art, like nature, needs time to develop; if you rush it, the result isn’t always the best.
Today I took a break from my meat-only diet. I hope you’ll forgive me, but I’m Italian: pasta with tomato sauce is in my blood. 🍝 image
Seeing the most die-hard Primal users drooling over Wisp is priceless. "Wisp... Just works."
