It's interesting watching the first fiat businesses slowly show up here. They just follow the usual big accounts. Of course they have no idea who's already fallen out of favor because of recent Bitcoin or Nostr dramas, what topics are actually 'in' now, or which way the wind is blowing. They're still completely clueless, stuck in that old fiat mindset from 4 years ago, with zero street credibility. But they feel like big shots just because they accept Bitcoin (with the completely wrong wallets) and managed to generate a key pair. The problem is, there are going to be a lot of them soon, and none of the current standards will matter anymore. We'll end up living in the eternal past and keep repeating the same mistakes. Getting real sovereignty is really tough, and I think some people will never get there. Those of us actually trying to move things forward will stay a niche inside a niche.
