The original US Bill of Rights
Buried in the un-amended Constitution, there are a series of restrictions on the actions of the States.
Some of these cede power to the federal government, but many commit to refrain from abuses.
If the US government has become a nation-State, it must refrain from these abuses.

The Bonds of Man
Man to Self
A) Prize your own life
Man, like beasts, aims for liveliness.
As Man grows in liveliness, he moves from survival to wellbeing to fatherhood.
B) Never lie to yourself
Man is both thought and flesh.
Thought may dwell on what was or could be, but flesh lives now.
So, thought must hold to truth and cast out error for Man to thrive.
Guard against holding to beliefs just because they feel good or you wish them to be true.
Take to heart what you can change and what you must bear.
Man to Man
A) If someone attacks you, hurt them, and not otherwise
Man to Nature
A) Nature, to be commanded, must be obeyed.
B) Humans are part of Nature
Humans are not gods above Nature, nor spirits caught inside it, nor evil beings blighting it, nor mere waste below it.
Whatever is commonly saved, becomes a unit of mutually understood account, and for reasons of convenience tends to become the media of exchange as well.
If you and I know each other and we both SAVE the same thing, I can give you gold (or bitcoin or whatever) rather than giving you dollars which you then have to convert.
Thus the key to replacing the dollar is NOT to replace its currency function - it is to replace its saving function.
This is why precious metal will be recognized as the money and Bitcoin will not.
