Someone very close to me asked about my miner. And then about bitcoin. And you know, explaining the concept about monetary systems in math is very difficult when someone doesn’t have a perspective that there can be other systems or other routes.
The conversation reminded me as to why this platform has challenges. It’s not simply because “the conversations are all about bitcoin“ but because the concept of what it needs to mean, doesn’t anchor in any type of value system that’s easily gross. Logically, short it makes sense. But it’s not so easy because it’s not entirely different than the anchors that live elsewhere.
I wonder if even the demo would be a problem… Because to some people, the idea of a security that does not live in something they already find protection in, is not liberation, it’s existential risk.
Wondering if my personal identity play might be the right “next” after reading a few things around recent hacks & a few other bits

Reminds of how I used to tell faith leaders how “compensated preaching” could work… back when “gamification” was becoming a mainstream speaking point

Had a good roll on the Ti Brompton today… really good roll. Probably shouldn’t do 20+ miles when one hasn’t biked much all winter though… quad cramps are fun
Excellent read on the topic of content management systems for Cursor
and then the contextual refute/async afterwards by Sanity
Rare to get reasoned pieces like this. Would be good to read more from product leadership like this
