Curious mind with a passion for sports, investing, and lifelong learning. Exploring Bitcoin and sharing simple finance lessons to help others build wealth and understanding.
One of my biggest “aha” moments about Bitcoin came when I heard @Michael Saylor discussing inflation with @preston . He explained the importance of measuring inflation by how fast the money supply is growing rather than relying on the CPI. That perspective hit me hard—it made me realize that my purchasing power was eroding at 10-12%+ per year, not the 2% that’s often reported.
That was the moment I truly grasped why Bitcoin is essential—not just as an investment but as a hedge against a broken financial system.
What was your biggest realization about Bitcoin? Let’s discuss! #Bitcoin #FinancialFreedom #Inflation
We recently welcomed our first child!
To make sure his future education is funded and not eaten away by inflation, I’m utilizing RESP. It’s a tax deferral vehicle available in Canada to save for your child’s education.
Guess what I’m holding to make sure my child’s education is fully funded and he can choose what he wants to be without any financial constraints?
That’s right…#bitcoin.
I’ve come to know that real learning only begins when you decide to put your ego to the side.
When you’re willing to ask the stupid questions.
When you’re willing to admit you know nothing.
When you’re willing to question if everything you’ve been taught is true or not.
It’s only when your mind is a blank slate that real learning can begin. Because you get busy understanding vs. defending what you previously were taught.
There’s no bigger test of this than Bitcoin.
I love equity analysis but it’s hard to get excited when the benchmark is to try to beat bitcoin’s CAGR.
This is the first time I’ve earned a $ or sat online…ever! Milestone moment :). #nostr

I love learning from people who have nothing to sell to me.
@preston @less @Lyn Alden @Jeff Booth come to mind!
I see a lot of headlines about public companies adopting Bitcoin on the balance sheet.
I don’t think there is enough talk about having private companies (SMBs) doing the same. Ultimately, these businesses are the back bone of the economy and I think there should be more chatter out there about how they can protect their purchasing power using the Bitcoin standard.
Who’s doing the good work in this space?
Early Nostr observation : people here are way more friendly as compared to twitter (X)!
