If Bitcoin reduces a person’s time preference, can it do the same for corporations? Perhaps they aren’t this season’s shitcoins. Perhaps Bitcoin can lead companies to live longer than ever.

I’m watching @Lyn Alden ‘s Broken Money video again. Has me wondering about the idea that Bitcoin is the preservation of one’s energy. Is Bitcoin the preservation of energy? Or is it the preservation of one’s time? Much of what money solves is the preservation of value over time and the mismatch of needs between parties at the same time. Makes sense. Time is not only finite, but diminishing. We talk about time preferences but never energy preferences. We Bitcoiners prefer to exert energy/do the work, and save time. This is undoubtedly obvious to others. I’ve just never really given this matter much thought before.

@Jeff Booth has such great perspectives on the future. It’s like he know humanity will be ok in the long run, thanks to no small part, to Bitcoin.

Will it be more prosperous for each of us to accumulate as much Bitcoin as we individually can and to never spend it, or for all of society to adopt it and for it to regularly move in circulation? @UNCLE ROCKSTAR thank you for the Bolt Card. That was the top item I had hoped to take home from the @The Bitcoin Conference. I purchased a second one for my kids, in fact. Now we’re set for swimming and shopping, whether at the conference again next year in Vegas, or @Bitcoin Jungle, or at Bitcoin Beach, without the concern of phones and water.

We all understand how bat shit crazy we sound to the rest of the world who think about Bitcoin never, right? Right? Even correcting them on the false assumptions of other cryptocurrencies being the same as Bitcoin just sounds crazier than letting the misconceptions stand, no matter how logical the explanation might be for Bitcoin and only Bitcoin. They just don’t want to talk about it. They don’t want to think about it. Think about how often you think about Bitcoin (probably constantly). They would not respond well knowing that.
