Immediate purchasing power matters more to most people than scarcity or censorship resistance, which I think is why Bitcoin’s price volatility turns so many people off. But scarcity and censorship resistance are the very qualities that protect purchasing power across time and jurisdictions, which is why the very thing people need in order to preserve their purchasing power is Bitcoin’s network and supply stability.
