#GNnostr #truckstr Time to shut down for the evening... Almost out of hours, although I get back 5+ a bit more after midnight. Hometime in 2 days, it has been an adjustment learning the ropes once more at Swift as an O/O! After pounding rain last night and a bunch more off and on today, in Missouri, some pretty clouds once the sky cleared up. Will wake up about 0500 local to see what I can find on the load board that may get me closer to home. πŸ™‚ image
#homesteading #GMnostr new addition to the farm... Gravity drain diesel tank, cost $240 including new hose and filter. Coop wanted to raise rental of the white barrel to $135/year image
#GMnostr pretty day starting off here in #Missouri! Got 5 horses visiting... And their Amish owners, putting gutters on the shop finally as well as a second downspout on the back of the house. Got the 4" drain tubing to move the water away from the shop and the patio. One day I plan to switch to rain catchment, but for now this is the plan. Sounds like I mauly be able to get a 15,000 concrete cistern delivered and installed for aroung $5-6k, so a goal for the future along with the solar array getting installed! #homesteading 😊 image
#GMnostr #beestr Am excited that in about 2-3 weeks will be arriving flat packed kits for 2 more hives and 2 large swarm traps! At $350/hive and $80 per trap, I can barely buy the materials now to make them for that price! Each kit is CNC cut and includes frames, doors, etc. Everything but the stainless wire to string the frames and the tin sheeting for the roof flashing. Plus, made out of cabinet grade plywood, so should all have a tight fit and look really nice. I will try to post pics of the builds... 😁 #honeythread
#GMnostr #truckstr First delivery in Indiana, on my last day with this company! Next week brings changes, so hopefully we can once again have chickens! ❀😁 image
#GMnostr #homesteading #Missouri after a second burn, the soon to be #biochar looks excellent, very high quality! Still neefs crushing and charging, for innoculation, but I am very stoked! Also, last night, we did a presentation on natural #beekeeping before the county's council, the University of Missouri Extension folks, and some local bank officials, plus over Zoom our districts MO state representative! Very erll received, new contacts made, and even have info coming about some Hives For Heroes program ran by the U of M (I think!) 😁 image
#GMnostr A quiet road in South Dakota, a little grain and dust blowing in thr stiff breeze! image
