What a day at the Zeeg Goedhart Tournament over in Alphen aan den Rijn yesterday with my daughter’s team, MO11-1! 🏆⚽ After a slow 0-0 opening match due to some early jitters, we made a quick tactical shift in our lineup. The adjustment changed everything—giving us the exact spark, defensive stability, and forward pressure we needed. The squad completely turned it around from there, winning the second match 3-1 and dominating the final with a clean 3-0 victory to bring home 1st place! 🥇 Our attack exploded for 6 beautiful goals, while our defensive wall stood rock solid, conceding only a single goal the entire tournament. 🧱🧤 It was also the perfect moment to officially close out the year. We thanked the girls for all their incredible effort and growth this season, and I was incredibly touched to receive some amazing thank-you presents from the team myself. 🎁🧡 The absolute perfect way to finish our U11 season before we move up to the U12 age group next year. To build up the stamina they'll need, we started with some heavy conditioning. Yesterday's menu: - A steady 3km run - High-intensity interval training - Repeats running up a steep hill The rain was falling during the run and came back right at the end of the training, but not a single one of them complained or slowed down. They just kept putting in the work—a true testament to their strength and character. 🌧️💪 After the running, we shifted gears to tactical work, focusing on positioning and formation within a 1-4-3-3 strategy. They worked hard on understanding when to press, how to use space, and transition on a full pitch. Honestly, they did fantastic absorbing the new concepts. This weekend, they get to put all of it into practice. We are playing a tournament against four boys U11 and U12 teams. Here is why that matters economically: ❌ If you send or receiving a transaction using the LN address, the wallet routes it over regular Lightning rails, forcing you to pay standard network routing fees. ✅ If a wallet actually allows you to see and use the native Spark address, transfers between those addresses are completely free!
