So o run your own #node, I'm between #umbrel and #start9 . Choosing 2Terabyt Umbrel is cheaper. For how long is 2 T enough? We now round 670K MB right now? In 15 years this and next 15y 1.2Mmillion.so in 45 years 1,8 Million? Would a 4T device long have eroded before we pass 2T blockchain size, or can I update @Umbrel ☂️ ad a new memory chip or something? For what other reasons would I take 4terra? I see you can do more than just run node. Store data.. apps? what for.. Simple please. New devices will come.. so while chatting noting to you , yes you.. I think Umbrell be fine. 2terabys space.. damn. #asknostr. Is it worth to pay a couple hundred more to get start9? @primal #primal Some #bug I guess. After being logged in to primal, after some time and visiting fellow npubs, II am unable to make notes, repost, like, but I am able to zap. Why's this? I need to go to a other client to my post note what is okay, but a reply to someone's note or repost is more a hassle seeing i need to find their posted note on that other client first.

I'll be first in line to buy one I've been able to keep away from them, but was in a country recently and unable to pay for parking my car without downloading an app. Please keep me updated when a 'smartphone' with QR reading, LN paying etc is possible 😉 @jack

Following a discussion about #telegram and #signal. @Meredith Whittaker Signal prompts you to use a smartphone to get the desktop app. So even if that ones better, no option to join unless you borrow a phone, but unsure if one keeps needing a phone to log in, like after an update, but for sure when switching device. So I thought i bring up nostr as an alternative. But quick search on https://nostrapps.com/0xchat, and i found this #oxchat and it seems i need a smartphone for that. Yes? @0xchat Are there any #chat #apps where one does not need a #smartphone? #primal is nice, maybe add chat? There IS! a market for those that still really rather not have one.
