I think good nutrition and diet are manufactured to be complex for nefarious and indolent motivations. Nefarious on account of promoting fad diets is a relatively easy way to turn a buck. Especially if you’re an attractive individual in the context of social media “influencers” Indolent because most of us shy away from applying any effort to determine what works and would rather just be told what to eat. I propose it’s far simpler, both in terms of content and execution. 1. Eat foods at the perimeter of the grocery store and stay away from those in the middle. Said another way - eat whole foods and avoid processed ones* 2. Eat when you’re hungry *yes, I know this is cost prohibitive for many given the effects of our fiat based economy
