In 70ad the Jewish Temple was destroyed. A hard fork occured. Those who continued in the faith of Abraham followed the Messiah, Jesus. This is the Church, which is made of Jewish-ancestry and Gentile believers in Jesus. Those who rejected the faith of Abraham, became a heresy of the Mosaic Covenant, breaking its laws, especially those relating to Temple sacrifice and Levitical superiority in matters of the faith. Instead a litany of Babylonian philosophy took over in the Pharisee factions, becoming what would be modern day Judaism. This isnt real judaism, because they reject their own covenant.
