GM Nostr,
I’ve been abroad for a bit and been reminded that in multilingual environments, we always instinctively revert to the most simple and universal method of communication. It’s usually 1) directional information (where we are coming from and where we are going) 2) some numerical data (math) and 3) a simple yes/no verification. It’s an emergent phenomenon.
@Erik Cason and others often talk about Bitcoin being the purest form of language that has ever existed. That idea has resonated with me over the last few weeks in a way that it hasn’t before.
Bitcoin organizes money into pure information; directional information, math, and a yes/no verification. That’s it.
Of course money will follow this same process and converge to the simplest and most universal state. Because it is instinctive and emergent.
The new common language (Bitcoin) creates the new commonwealth.
And as
@Jeff Booth says, if the protocol stays decentralized and secure, the transition is inevitable.
